Clayviss is a parental screen-time app. A parent sets it up so that a child reads a scripture passage aloud before selected apps unlock. Parents pay a subscription for it.
We donate 25% of what we receive after Apple takes its cut. If you don't name a place of worship, we donate it to a nonprofit Clayviss selects.
That is the whole program. When a family in your congregation names your place of worship in the Clayviss app, 25% of what reaches us from that family's subscription is set aside for you and paid once a year. Bellalu Management LLC never keeps it.
Families in your congregation are already paying for screen-time tools. When a family pays for Clayviss, a quarter of what reaches us comes to your place of worship instead of staying with us. The family pays nothing extra — the 25% is not a surcharge and is not added to their price. It comes out of what we would otherwise keep.
Nothing, beyond a one-time paperwork step.
Apple takes a commission on every subscription before any money reaches us. We donate 25% of what actually reaches us. We don't subtract anything else — not our costs, not banking fees, not overhead. Just Apple's cut, then 25% of the rest.
We do not publish a dollar figure for each plan. Apple sets its commission and can change it, so a number printed today could be wrong tomorrow. The rule does not change: 25% of what reaches us, after Apple's cut.
You may request a statement of the amount built up for your place of worship at any time.
If a family's payment is refunded, no donation builds up from that payment.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| All year | Donations build up, month by month, for the place of worship each family named. |
| By November 1 | Your place of worship must send us its paperwork to be paid this year. |
| December | We send the payment, by check or direct deposit (ACH). |
If your paperwork arrives after November 1, you receive no payment in that cycle, and the amounts built up are donated instead to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that Clayviss selects. This happens on the first missed deadline; the money is not held over. Your place of worship stays eligible to verify and be paid in a future cycle.
A determination letter is not required. Churches are automatically tax-exempt under Section 508(c)(1)(A) of the Internal Revenue Code and are not required to apply to the IRS for one. Most churches do not have one. That is normal, and its absence does not affect payment.
No. You pay no fee, no commission, no rebate, and no other consideration of any kind, and you provide us no goods or services in exchange. The payment is a donation made by Bellalu Management LLC.
No. You are under no obligation to promote Clayviss. If you choose to tell your congregation about it, that is voluntary and you may stop at any time.
No. We will not solicit, contact, or market to your congregation, membership list, or contact database.
No. You are the recipient of a donation. Neither of us will state or imply that your place of worship endorses, warrants, or recommends Clayviss.
No. The payment is unrestricted, and we require no reporting on its use.
No. We are independent parties. The agreement creates no partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, or franchise relationship, and neither of us can bind the other.
Apple takes a commission on every subscription before any money reaches Bellalu Management LLC. The donation is 25% of what actually reaches it. Nothing further is taken out — not Bellalu's costs, not payment-processing fees, not banking costs, not administrative costs. Bellalu Management LLC's records are the basis of the calculation. You may request a statement of the amount built up for your place of worship at any time.

Yes. Either of us may end the agreement at any time on written notice. Amounts built up through the date it ends remain payable and are paid at the next December payout, provided you have completed the paperwork above. Nothing builds up after that.
Bellalu Management LLC treats these payments as an ordinary and necessary business expense of its promotional program. We make no representation about how the payment should be treated on your side. Your place of worship should consult its own tax and legal advisors.
